Superstitions on the golf course

We just finished 18 holes of golf here at the on post course (it was actually 9 twice) and I definitely improved from the other day, however I found a little superstition of my own and was wondering if I was the only one with something like this. I started off using whatever cheap ball we had bought, I think they were Pinnacle something's. I was definitely having issues, basically putting too much pressure on myself. So we ended up going by the hole that has all the range balls hit onto it, and I grab a couple and start playing those instead to "get the range feel again" and to "hit like I was on the range" since I was hitting much better there than on the course. What I'd do is bring an extra ball up there with me and just leave it behind me and once I started doing that (the back nine) I played better. Lol, I know it's retarded, but what are some of your golf superstitions, if any?

I've heard some really strange superstitions before but I don't have any. I always keep a tee and a marker in my right pocket and my ball mark fixer in the left pocket. On par 3's or par 4's, if I'm teeing up an iron I always try to find a broken tee to use rather than use my own.
I used to use the same ball marker all the time but now I just use whatever quarter or dime I grab.

be careful when doing that, even if the the marshals or whoever catches you hit a ball a couple times, it could have serious ramifications.

As for superstitions, I have a couple:

Before the round, I buy a coke worth $1.95. I use the $.05 as a ball marker. And on hole number 6 (a short par 3, elevated tee box, WAAAY elevated) I use the lid off the coke bottle as a tee. (weird, I know)

I take 2 practice swings with my club head on my driver before driving, to get a weighted feel.

And finally, on the last green of the day, I take my shoes off, put them in my bag, take out my flip flops, and walk out the putt, and putt barefoot. (you'd be surprised how much more break you can read without shoes on when walking the line of the putt)

That's all for me. Few weird superstitions

I have some mental blocks about certain holes. So I simply don't play them for a while and sooner or later I forget which one I had a problem with.

I've pretty much given up on hitting 3 wood or 2 iron on a tight hole simply because I don't want the driver going into the woods. If I hit a shorter club with that already in my mind, it's going 200 yards into the woods instead of 300 yards into the woods.

I'm not superstitious. Even when I was playing tournaments I never even had a preshot routine. Trying to work on implementing that now though...

A friend of mine will not use the ball washers, claims they're bad luck.
