I swung a Medicus 5I once. Silly thing is broken, the end kept wobbling around on every swing. It sure ain't gonna ever be part of my gear.

I guess it helps some players, but it forces you into the designer's idea of what a correct swing is, and if that doesn't suit you that's just tough luck. I couldnt even make a chipping stroke without it breaking on me.... 'course, I didn't have any instructions for it, so I might have been doing it completely wrong.

Anyway, I'm relatively happy with my swing, so I'm not going to risk screwing it up with that club. I'd sure find a way to try it before you buy it. I'd be willing to bet that more than half of the people who buy those things end up getting no value at all for their money.

I've had the 5i for a couple of years. It's not a cure-all but will help with tempo and somewhat with plane. It took a little time but I can swing mine as hard as I want without it breaking.

I have a buddy of mine that swears by his Medicus. I was in Play it again sports last week and found a used 5 iron Medicus in excellent condition for only $20 so I had to buy it. I have only swung it a few times so far. I will let you know how I like it after I try it out a little while longer.

That's funny, because I found mine at a Play It Again store as well. Two years ago I ended up paying $50 though.
